Inglewood

The small community of Inglewood TN is located four miles north of downtown Nashville in Davidson County.  Interstate 65 is nearby providing easy access to the network of expressways that service the Nashville area.

The people living in Inglewood enjoy a rare combination of tree-lined boulevards and homes steeped in history.  The area has an artistic flare that making it a unique place.  Cumberland River flows along the edge of town providing even more magnificent views of the area’s natural beauty.

Gallatin Road runs right through town and provides plenty of commercial opportunities.  And with a location so close to Downtown Nashville, shopping and dining options are endless.  With a short commute, close proximity to the Nashville International Airport, and affordable housing choices, Inglewood is a smart choice when looking for places to live.

Many of the homes in Inglewood showcase unique architectural features and the median sales price for a single family home is near $145,000 which is up nearly 16% from last year.  The local real estate market consists mostly of small to medium sized single-family homes. Most of the homes in Inglewood are older and were constructed between the 1940s (some even earlier) and the 1960s.

The locals in Inglewood value diversity.  Though small in size, the population of Inglewood boasts one of the more diverse compositions in the state of Tennessee.  This small area is home to many young college students and people from many different cultural and social backgrounds.

The people here have taken pride in the appearance of their town.  Generally speaking, neighbors in Inglewood are hard-working, middle income people.  Many residents have made a career in management positions and/or service related jobs.

Safety is of upmost importance and despite its proximity to a big city, Inglewood is proud to be considered a very safe place.  Residents here feel very comfortable walking the streets in town.
