This was my second home sale with Monte and his team. One word to describe Monte is fantastic!
I’ve never met an agent as caring as he is. My situation was very difficult and I think most agents couldn’t handle it well. I had a house that was highly over appraised when the market was great. I would have sold it then but it needed many repairs. Unfortunately, I live out of the country so fixing it became a paramount task. Monte assisted me with repairs, contacting contractors, finding a buyer, and selling it for a reasonable price in this devastated market.
Actually, Monte was able to close the deal with the first buyer. Monte was able to get my full asking price for the home sale. He handled the ENTIRE process since I was living overseas. The day before closing when Monte was taking a final look at the house, he went through each room and cleaned up the garbage that was left over from the previous tenant. Monte will do what it takes to get his listings sold.
If you follow his advice for pricing, you will sell your house. I was stuck between *trying* to get my desired sale price and selling the house quickly. Monte told me a good range to start with. I told him where to start and he listed it and within 2 weeks we had an offer and a signature to buy! The same thing happened with the last house I sold with him.
All I can say is, had it not been for Monte, I could not have handled this sale. I couldn’t have gone back to Nashville to sell the house because of my job and I know I couldn’t have trusted a “normal” agent for this task. Monte went above and beyond the necessary steps of the real estate agent. He deserved much more than the measly commission he received. The day after closing, I received an international wire transfer and my mortgage company got their payoff.
